The Operating Handbook of Freight Vocabulary
Freight transportation runs on shorthand. A dispatcher, a CFO, an ocean terminal clerk, and an IT architect can sit in the same operational review and mean three different things by "rating," "per diem," or "integration." Strong Tower built this definitive industry glossary so carrier executives, operations managers, billing teams, and software architects share an exact, unambiguous vocabulary.
Where concepts connect directly to operational systems, each entry links to real-world software workflows from our sister company Exspeedite (such as the Exspeedite TMS dispatch engine, Pipeline shipper portal, or CheckPoint tracking) as well as our vendor-neutral consulting advisory practices.
