Our mission
Mission
To deliver high quality IT solutions and services to our clients in the transportation & logistics industry. To go the extra mile, to exceed our clients' expectations and create loyal client relationships.
Those two sentences come straight from our original website, and we have kept them word for word. The first says what we do and who we do it for. The second says how. Delivering a working system is the minimum. The goal is a client who trusts us enough to call again, and who would recommend us to the carrier down the road.
Our old clients page said it another way: "Whenever we work with a client, we will go the extra mile to earn your praise."
Values grounded in faith
Strong Tower Consulting is a Christian company. Our name comes from Proverbs 18:10, and our values grow out of the same faith. We don't treat them as slogans for a wall. They are the standards we expect to be held to, by our clients and by God, and the test we use when a decision is hard.
1. Integrity
Integrity comes first because everything else depends on it. In freight technology, integrity looks practical: telling a client their system can do more before recommending a new one; giving an honest estimate instead of a convenient one; admitting a mistake on a cutover weekend and fixing it, rather than hiding it.
It is also why our consulting never requires buying our sister company's software. Advice is only worth something if it is honest. Scripture puts it simply: "The integrity of the upright guides them" (Proverbs 11:3).
2. Service / Support
Our clients run operations that don't stop at five o'clock. When dispatch can't build a load or billing can't print invoices, they need help that shows up. Service means being reachable, responsive, and prepared. Support means staying with a client after go-live, because that is when the real questions start.
We see service as a calling, not a cost center. Jesus said He "did not come to be served, but to serve" (Mark 10:45), and that is the posture we want to bring to every engagement, from on-site and remote support to training your staff.
3. Loyalty
Our mission ends with "create loyal client relationships," and loyalty runs both ways. We want clients who stay with us for years, and we earn that by being loyal to them first: protecting their interests, keeping their information confidential, and giving them our best work whether the project is large or small.
Some of our client relationships go back to the founding of the firm. One client's IT manager wrote of working closely with Scott "since May 2008 to present." That kind of trust is built one faithful act at a time. "A friend loves at all times" (Proverbs 17:17).
4. Teamwork
No consultant succeeds alone. A TMS conversion or a process redesign only works when dispatch, billing, safety, payroll, IT, and leadership pull in the same direction. We work alongside your people, not over them, and we leave knowledge behind instead of keeping it to ourselves.
The same goes for our own team. We depend on each other, share the load, and cover for one another when a project needs extra hands. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
5. Work/life balance
Freight is a demanding industry, and technology projects can swallow nights and weekends if nobody guards against it. We believe people do their best work when they have time for family, rest, and faith. Rest is woven into the order of creation, and we take that seriously.
Balance doesn't mean we disappear during a go-live. It means we plan well enough that emergencies are the exception, not the operating model, for our team and for yours. A well-planned project protects everyone's evenings.
Strong Tower 5 guiding values, ethical standards & carrier operational impact matrix
Our values are not decorative corporate slogans; they are the governing operational standards that dictate how we scope projects, evaluate carrier software, and lead cutover weekends. Here is how our foundational principles protect motor carriers:
| Core Value | Foundational Grounding | Carrier Engagement Operating Standard | Common Consulting Industry Failure Mode | Measurable Carrier Benefit & ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Integrity | Proverbs 11:3: “The integrity of the upright guides them.” | We never accept vendor referral commissions or push software sales. We tell clients when to keep and optimize their existing systems. | Commissioned resellers recommend expensive, ill-fitting software replacements to capture software margin. | Prevents $200k - $500k in unnecessary software capital expenditures; ensures completely truthful technology advice. |
| 2. Service & Support | Mark 10:45: Called to serve rather than be served. | We remain physically on site beside dispatchers and billing clerks during high-pressure go-live cutovers, resolving edge cases immediately. | Advisors deliver high-level strategy slides and exit the premises before the painful operational cutover begins. | Eliminates post-implementation panic; guarantees that billing batches, settlements, and live tracking run smoothly from day one. |
| 3. Loyalty | Proverbs 17:17: “A friend loves at all times.” | Decade-long client partnerships; strict operational confidentiality; protecting carrier competitive advantage and shipper customer relationships. | Consultancies recycle proprietary carrier lane data and operational playbooks across competing motor carriers. | Provides trusted, confidential counsel carriers can rely on for executive M&A due diligence and long-term tech roadmaps. |
| 4. Teamwork | Ecclesiastes 4:9: Shared labor yields greater return. | We partner with internal fleet personnel, transferring full SQL documentation and standard operating procedures to empower internal staff. | Consultants hoard system access and custom report logic to engineer perpetual client dependency. | Builds permanent internal self-reliance; eliminates costly external recurring contractor fees. |
| 5. Work/Life Balance | Genesis 2:2-3: Rest woven into the created order. | Rigorous stage-gate project management schedules cutovers around freight rhythms, eliminating chaotic late-night firefighting. | Poorly scoped IT projects force operations and dispatch staff into weeks of frantic 80-hour workweeks and burnout. | Protects carrier staff retention and morale; ensures projects finish on time and within agreed budget boundaries. |
How the values show up in practice
| Value | What it means on an engagement |

| Service / Support | Responsive help, especially around upgrades and go-lives |
| Loyalty | Long-term relationships and confidentiality |
| Teamwork | Working alongside your staff and transferring knowledge |
| Work/life balance | Planning that keeps emergencies the exception |
